Today’s Rotary meeting at the country club was outstanding! We were honored to welcome the team from Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital and their Community Relations Department for an incredibly informative and engaging presentation regarding the needs of our community.

The discussion centered around their upcoming community needs assessment, but what made the presentation especially impactful was their genuine desire to listen and learn from those actively serving throughout Hobbs and Lea County. It was a great conversation filled with collaboration, ideas, and meaningful dialogue about how we can continue working together to better serve our community.

A huge thank you toCovenant Health Hobbs for taking the time to invest in these conversations and for the work you continue to do for our community. We appreciate your partnership and commitment to making a difference!

What a knowledgeable speaker! I appreciate Joann Miller Zaragoza for stepping in and sharing information about insurance. I will be following up with a discussion with my insurance agent after getting your recommendations.

Interesting Rotary meeting today! We had 14 in attendance…what’s up with THAT?!! Tony Arsbon was our speaker today. His presentation was about The Ride to Remember, which Tony created 25 years ago. Motorcycles from the area come together, as do car clubs and just “regular” folks show up each year on September 11th to show respect and appreciation to those first responders who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Thank you Tony Arsbon for being that visionary person!!!

Great presentation! United Way of Lea County shared exciting updates on their upcoming initiatives, a full calendar of events for the year, and several new changes and improvements they are implementing to better serve our community and their mission.

Today was doubly good at Hobbs Rotary with a presentation from Boss Babes Unite regarding their upcoming event and Senator Larry Scott providing answers to questions about the recent 30-day session. Come join us next week to hear from our legislators and learn about the progress and work accomplished as well as the challenges faced.

What a great time Thursday at Rotary Hobbs. Help me welcome Lionel Ferman to our club. He chose to become a part of the best kept secret team. We also had an inspirational presentation from retired librarian and author Christine Adams. Cozy mysteries has become a new favorite genre.
