🚧 Traffic Detection System Upgrade 🚧

The City of Hobbs Traffic Division will be upgrading the traffic detection system at N. Dal Paso Street and E. Llano Drive on Wednesday, September 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists should expect temporary lane closures, traffic control measures, and possible delays. Please use caution, reduce your speed, and follow all posted traffic control devices when traveling through the area.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation and left an immeasurable impact on countless lives.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives that were taken, the families who were left behind, and the first responders and everyday heroes who showed incredible courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, emergency personnel, military members, and civilians who risked everything to help others. We remember the families who continue to carry the weight of that day, and the stories of love, bravery, and sacrifice that should never be forgotten.

May we continue to honor those we lost by remembering their lives, recognizing the heroes among us, and holding onto the compassion and unity that brought our nation together during one of its darkest moments.

25 years later...we remember.
25 years later...we honor.
25 years later...we never forget.
