And here let me emphasize the fact — and it cannot be repeated too often — that the working class who fight all the battles, the working class who make the supreme sacrifices, the working class who freely shed their blood and furnish the corpses, have never yet had a voice in either declaring war or making peace. It is the ruling class that invariably does both. They alone declare war and they alone make peace.

‘Yours not to reason why;
Yours but to do and die.’

That is their motto, and we object on the part of the awakening workers of this nation.

This page is only being kept for legacy purposes and occasional community outreach. NWI Solidarity accomplished its goals over the last year, we helped build up local coalitions of activist organizations, helped our comrades build new orgs from the ground-up, and brought awareness of the left to the people of NWI.

All work has moved over to either the Indiana Chapter of the White Panther Party or the NWI Mutual Aid Initiative. Despite the struggles we had over the last year, we are proud of the work we've done and the connections we made/help others make along the way. None of this would have been possible without the support of you, the working class of Northwest Indiana.

This is not us surrendering, this is not us giving up, this is a declaration of success and a migration towards orgs which continue the fight where ours ended. We helped build the connections, now it's time for us to put those connections to use and get the boots on the ground. Thank you to everyone who supported us, who learned from us, and who will join us in the fight for true liberation of the oppressed throughout the nation. Solidarity with the working class!

Abortion is a human right, this is nothing more than fascist evangelicals trying to force their beliefs on the working class.

The Supreme Court seemed poised Wednesday to uphold a Mississippi law that bars abortion after 15 weeks, but it is less clear if there is a clear majority to end the right to abortion nationwide, although conservative justices expressed skepticism about the landmark Roe v. Wade decision.
