We want to thank Watonga for assisting us with this accident last night. A local young lady hit two calves and ended up in a firer crash. She was taken to the hospital with a broken back. If you could say a prayer for for her it would be greatly appreciated.

Blaine county task force lead by Chad ( Okeene, Canton, Hitchcock, Watonga, Greenfield,Longdale) assisted with the Binger fire. We were on our way home about midnight and and was dispatched out to help out Loyal and Hennessy with a fire East of Okeene and fortunately they had that one under control. Pray for Rain

There are no words for our heartfelt gratitude. Our department was running low on supplies and we put together an Amazon wish list and all of you came thru for us. We are beyond blessed to be a part of this community. We are stocked up and ready for the next call to come in. Hitchcock Fire Department greatly appreciates each and every one of you.

With the high temperatures and increase in large wildfires in our area due to dryness, we have depleted our water and Gatorade supply. Our firefighters are spending long hours in extreme heat all while in bunker gear. We are asking for donations of water and Gatorade that can be dropped off at our department on Main Street. We have also created an Amazon link with supplies that are crucial to our safety while fighting these fires. I did not have time to get many pictures but Hitchcock would like to thank Okeene,Loyal and Hennessy for assisting with a fire at E 680 and 2990 Road. Everyone did an outstanding job in this heat.
