Over the past several months, I’ve had the opportunity to visit with families, farmers, ranchers, business owners, and community members throughout District 1. No matter where I go, the concerns are often the same: roads, emergency services, accountability, transparency, and making sure taxpayer dollars are being spent wisely.

I believe leadership starts with showing up, listening, and putting people before politics. Our communities deserve safe roads, dependable emergency response services, and county government that is open, honest, and accountable to the people it serves.

As your County Commissioner, I will work to:

Improve roads and infrastructure

Support dependable emergency services

Increase transparency and accountability in county government

Protect taxpayer dollars through responsible spending

Support agriculture, small businesses, and rural communities

Ensure every voice in District 1 is heard

If elected, I will be fully dedicated to serving the people of Caddo County District 1. This position is not about politics or personal interests, it’s about service. I will work hard every day to represent our communities, address concerns, pursue solutions, and make decisions based on what is best for the citizens of District 1.

This campaign is about bringing common-sense leadership back to local government. It’s about asking the hard questions, addressing problems instead of ignoring them, and working every day for the people of Caddo County.

Together, we can build a stronger future for District 1 and ensure our communities remain great places to live, work, and raise a family.

For too long, families, farmers, ranchers, school buses, emergency services, and everyday drivers have dealt with rough roads, potholes, and infrastructure problems that affect daily life.

As County Commissioner, I will actively pursue available state and federal funding opportunities to help bring road improvement dollars back to Caddo County while saving taxpayer dollars whenever possible.

Programs and funding opportunities available to counties could include, but are not limited to:

County Improvements for Roads & Bridges (CIRB) funding for major road repairs, reconstruction, and bridge improvements

Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP) Grants
rural infrastructure and transportation improvements

Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) funding that can assist with streets and public infrastructure projects

Surface Transportation Block Grants (STBG) transportation and road improvement funding

Partnership opportunities with tribal and state transportation programs

Taxpayer dollars should work harder for our communities. My goal is to make sure Caddo County aggressively seeks every opportunity available to improve our roads, strengthen our infrastructure, and create long-term solutions, not temporary fixes.

Caddo County deserves safer roads, better planning, transparency, accountability, and leadership that pursues every opportunity available.

Vote Bucky Brown for County Commissioner.

Disclaimer: At my current position, I cannot say with certainty which specific grants or programs Caddo County currently qualifies for. My commitment is to identify, research, and pursue every available opportunity that can bring funding and infrastructure improvements to Caddo County.

Small towns and rural communities deserve leaders who understand the people, the work, and the values that keep Oklahoma strong.

I believe leadership should be built on honesty, accountability, and showing up for the community, not politics, excuses, or empty promises.

For too long, people have had questions about where money is going, why problems continue getting ignored, and why everyday families feel like their voices aren’t being heard. Officials should be transparent, accessible, and willing to answer tough questions. Taxpayer dollars should be spent responsibly, roads and infrastructure should matter, and local families should always come before politics.

This campaign is about bringing common sense leadership back to the people. It’s about supporting agriculture, rural communities, small businesses, law enforcement, and the hardworking men and women who keep this county running every single day.

I am not afraid to stand up, speak out, and push for accountability where it’s needed. The community deserves leaders who work for the people, not for personal agendas or political games.

If you’re ready for stronger leadership, more transparency, and someone who truly cares about the future of our communities.

Enough with the excuses. Enough with the politics. It’s time for leadership that actually gets things done.

I stand for accountability, transparency, and putting the people of this county first, not personal interests, not backroom deals, and not empty promises.

Our roads matter. Our farmers matter. Our small businesses matter. Our tax dollars matter.

People are tired of watching problems get ignored while budgets grow and questions go unanswered. We deserve leaders who will step up, ask hard questions, and fight for real change.

Leadership means:
Showing up
Taking responsibility
Being honest with the public
Making tough decisions
Protecting the future of our communities

The people deserve to know where the money is going, why projects are delayed, and who is truly working for the county.

I don’t drive every road in District 1 every single day but I’ve been on many of them, and more importantly, I’ve listened to the people who depend on them.

Roads are more than just a way to get from point A to point B.

They matter because:
Mail carriers rely on safe, passable roads to reach every home

School buses carry our kids and their safety should never be in question

Emergency responders need dependable roads when every second counts

When roads are neglected, it’s not just frustrating it becomes a real safety risk for our community.

As your District 1 County Commissioner, roads will always be my top priority. Not just temporary fixes—but doing the job right so they last and truly serve the people who rely on them every day.

Let’s Talk About Emergency Services in District 1

As I continue visiting with folks across the District , one topic that keeps coming up is our ambulance and emergency response services.

When an emergency happens, every second matters. Whether it’s for our families, our neighbors, or our elderly residents. We all depend on fast, reliable care when we need it most.

Are response times where they need to be?

Do you feel confident in the coverage across our district?

Are there areas being overlooked?

What improvements would you like to see?

Your input matters. These are real concerns that affect real lives, and it’s important we have open conversations about what’s working and what’s not.

Drop your thoughts, concerns, or ideas in the comments or message me directly.
