Howdy friends & neighbors!

In my last post i spoke briefly about my commitment to expanding public water across Summers County. I wanted to bring to your attention regarding improving our access to public water, a petition for Forest Hill, Marie, and the Badger Springs area. In order for us to make headway on these projects the County Officials want to see that the public has interest in having them started and completed very soon.

Petitions will be posted in several places around the county for you to sign so keep a look out, but you can also come on down to my barbershop on Temple Street and sign this petition. We can also discuss any important issues you feel should also be brought to the public and I’s attention.

As always thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing and hearing from all of you very soon!

One of my many upcoming goals for Summers County is to be as transparent as possible about where the funding is going. I feel like we need to take a serious look at past expenses that could be considered wasteful spending, and put that money towards finishing projects that have been started but have been dragging behind to the finish line. When we start something, it needs to be done the right way, and completed in a timely manner to avoid any overspending on unnecessary costs. We need all the funding we can get and to waste it does more harm to our county than any good at all.

Speaking of unfinished projects, i also feel very strongly about having the Madams Creek Water project finished immediately. I would like the opportunity to provide public water across the entire county for as many residents as possible. Water is the most important resource we have, although very simple, the impact it has on all of our lives cannot be compared.

When it comes to your public water, the water is tested and treated in a responsible manner for contamination constantly, to ensure its safety. You will be able to drink right from the tap, and having both well and public water on your property may also increase the property’s value. Public water is also not dependent on your electricity, unlike your well, so when the power goes out you will still be able to use your water. I believe providing more access to public water will greatly benefit our infrastructure.

are you old enough to vote?
do you live in Summers County, West Virginia?
do you truly care about the infrastructure of your county and seeing it grow and expand in years to come?
are you tired of seeing no funding in the county, or never really knowing where the funding goes?
would you like to be represented by someone who thinks like you do, and cares about the same issues as you?

well now that i’ve got your attention, let me give you the answers.

Re-Elect Tony Williams as your County Commissioner this election season!

Tony has lived in Summers County his entire life. He owns a farm with his family in Jumping Branch and has carried on the legacy of Tony’s Barber Shop in Hinton following in the footsteps of his father David Williams. Those of you who know him are probably quite fond of him. He is the epitome of a small town family man who has so much love for his hometown and its people.

Tony Williams wants you to know that he stands in solidarity with the people of Summers County.

Tony is an extreme advocate for fresh water for all. His vision is to ensure everyone in the county has access to clean public water. During his last term he began the Madams Creek Water Project that has yet to be finished, leaving the project in pieces with no end in sight. One of his first big tasks on the agenda is getting this project up and running at a faster pace and having it fully completed. Then he would like to continue expanding the project into more areas to reach more people of Summers County.

Tony believes that as the people of Summers County you are not only entitled to, but also deserve to know, exactly where every penny of the budget and funding are being spent and why. Transparency is one of the most important things to him in this aspect and he plans to make changes to how funds are allocated and giving everyone access to follow their progress.

Tony has so much more planned for the county and with your help he can bring all of these wonderful visions into action.

If you’d like to meet Tony Williams, have a conversation with him about his political views, or visit the historical barber shop on Temple Street for a quick cut, he’d like you to know his door is always open.

Tony Williams is for the people of Summers County because he is the people of Summers County.

Spread the word, register to vote, and stay informed!!

if you have any questions, or would like to know more, please do not hesitate to reach out to Tony in person, he would love to hear from you.

- Tony Williams
