This Friday, January 9, 2026, brought a special encounter in the Inner Harbor! Deputy Harbor Master Mike Nash and Animal Control Officer Leslie Bager, along with a marine mammal specialist from the Whale & Dolphin Conservation, paid a visit to a harbor seal relaxing on the ice. All seemed well as the harbor seal soaked in the scenery! We'll stay vigilant in case the situation changes.

We received a bulletin from to be on the lookout for a grumpy, green suspect attempting to ruin Christmas.

And then... WE SPOTTED HIM!

Our harbormaster team caught the Grinch hiding in our very own police boat!

Don’t worry, Hingham! We’ve got him in custody, and Christmas is SAFE!

No stealing Christmas for this grumpy guy this year! Thank you dispatch for helping us catch the Grinch!
