Brush drop off is available at the Road District Maintenance yard for Bowdre Township Residents to help recover from previous two days of storms. The brush pile is located in Northeast corner of rock storage yard. No contractor debris without pre authorization. At this time we do not anticipate doing any residence curbside pickups. We will see what round 3 brings tomorrow evening and reevaluate after that. Stay safe and well hydrated as you begin cleanup, and as always don’t hesitate to reach out if you need something.

⚡️UPDATE Friday, June 12th at 4:00 pm: Our crews continue to make great progress restoring power across the system. We are hopeful that our remaining line section outages will be energized before too much longer. Once those larger outages are restored, our efforts will shift to addressing the remaining individual service outages and repairing broken poles throughout our territory.

We appreciate everyone's patience and support as our crews work safely and efficiently to complete the restoration process. If you see a downed power line, broken pole, or other damage, please stay clear and report it to our office immediately.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to get all members back online.

⚡️UPDATE Friday, June 12th at 11:00 am: Our crews continue to make progress restoring power across the system. We still have several broken poles, downed power lines, and trees on lines throughout our territory. To assist with restoration efforts, additional crews from Norris Electric are joining us and are helping replace damaged poles.

We will be working throughout the remainder of the day to restore service to the approximately 235 members who are still without power. We appreciate everyone's patience as our crews safely complete repairs. As always, if you see a downed power line, broken pole, or any other damage that may be affecting service, please report it to us immediately. ⚡️UPDATE Friday, June 12th at 3:05 am: Restoration efforts are still underway. Crews are working diligently to restore services and repair any damaged infrastructure as quickly as possible. Due to a broken transmission pole, Bethany & Sullivan substations are going to be deenergized here shortly while the pole is replaced. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no way to back-feed those substations. We are working with Prairie Power to make those repairs.

⚡️UPDATE Friday, June 12th at 12:40 am: Restoration efforts are ongoing. Crews are systematically isolating damaged areas and restoring power where it is safe to do so.
