🚨 ROAD CLOSURE ALERT 🚨

Due to an ongoing structure fire at Big S Market in Beaver, KY Route 7 and KY 1091 will be shut down for an extended period of time.

Please avoid the area, use extreme caution, and find an alternate route if possible.

⚠️ Emergency crews are on scene. Please give first responders plenty of room to work and do not attempt to drive through the closure.

We are in a flash flood advisory until 11:30 pm. If you see water crossing any roadways please let us know. Hopefully these storms blow over us.

⚠️ SEVERE WEATHER & FLASH FLOODING THREAT TODAY ⚠️
Update from KYEM and National weather service.

Multiple storm complexes are expected to move through our area this afternoon and evening. Several storms could become strong to severe, with:

🌬️ Damaging wind gusts up to 80 MPH
🌧️ Heavy rainfall
🌪️ A brief tornado cannot be ruled out
🌊 Significant to life-threatening flash flooding

The threat for flash flooding will continue through tomorrow morning, especially in areas that receive repeated rounds of heavy rain.

Multiple complexes of showers and storms will move across the area today and tonight. Significant to potentially life-threatening flash flooding possible, especially in areas that are hit with multiple rounds of storms. Turn around, don't drown!

A significant pattern change will allow multiple thunderstorm complexes to track through the Ohio River Valley this week.
