Democratic Club South of the Broad - Hilton Head/Bluffton Promoting the ideals of the Democratic Party through voter education and community activism

The Democratic Club South of the Broad is an organized group of liberally-minded, progressive-thinking, individuals who meet regularly to exchange ideas on how to attract members and discuss current events and issues, and to arrange for political activity, such as demonstrations and literature distribution. We prepare public outreach programs to encourage voter registration, volunteer to support D

emocratic campaigns and candidates. In support of the Beaufort County Democratic Party (BCDP), we also sponsor events such as panel discussions, speaker luncheons, film screenings, informative presentations on topical issues for the voting public, and hold social activities such as a Holiday Brunch, and a summer picnic, to help maintain our members' sense of loyalty to the club and commitment to each other in relaxed social settings that allows for the free-exchange of ideas.
