w Your Stripes Alliance”, a movement designed to assist in the training and hiring of our veterans. Our organization is committed to creating the necessary support to the needs of the men and women who protect our great country. A-Z Stepping Stones, Inc.’s alcohol and substance abuse program, “Saving Lives…..One Step at a Time” offers recovery, counseling and housing resources to support the never ending problem of alcohol and substance abuse. The organization is a licensed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Provider for the Department of Human Services (DHS) and a protocol approved partner of the department’s abuse intervention program. supports The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence in offering community-based domestic violence services which includes emergency shelters, advocacy, counseling, and related intervention and prevention services. All services are provided in a manner that seeks to ensure the safety of the domestic violence survivor and any vulnerable family members. is an active advocate for mental health featuring “The Mind of Nova” a mental health advocacy group which supports services to protect the vulnerable. The program supports health and independence for disabled individuals by providing short and long term behavior health services with comprehensive mental health assessments and individual treatment plans. The organization is committed to reaching all of its goals which includes providing case management services for the homeless mentally ill and those who are at risk of homelessness. Strategic support for mental and/or substance use disorders are the primary goal of “The Mind of Nova” Program, which defines the working definition of recovery to be a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.
