My Name is Tahira Chambers , I am the Director of the United Way Of Greater Union County Hillside Family Success Center. I am a longtime resident of the Hillside Community ,my goal as director of the Hillside Family Success Center is to bring as much success and implement as many programs based on our community needs, so that the families are able to be cared for by addressing the strengths and we

akness of our community, addressing challenges and goals which threaten to undermine family stability. Also my goal is to serve as a resourceful program that families can use for strengthening family ties in our community. Our Facility is a open door facility that will allow community residents to come for following programs: Advocacy, Parenting Classes, Family Fun Nights, Life Skills Training, Parent-Child Activities, Emergency Energy Assistance, Assistance with applications for NJ Family Care, Food Stamps, and other services, Parent Education Support, Community service, Youth Mentoring, Violence Prevention, Teen Self-Esteem, Volunteering Opportunities, Information and Referral Services and much more......
