- Reduced the municipal property tax increase to 1.8% - without reductions in major services or layoffs
- Reduced Hillsdale's debt from previous administrations by 7%
- Attained grant money from the State to pay for road upgrades and support from local business to pay fo
r special events like Concerts in the Park and Town Day
- Reduced inefficiencies to eliminate wasteful spending
- Took a stand against big utilities on flooding in town and installation of unattractive solar panels in our residential and commercial areas
- Helped homeowners get FEMA funding to pay for flood damage and attained State Blue Acres funding to help buy homes from people in flooded areas
- Worked with County officials on traffic control measures to improve traffic flow, make our streets safer and limit truck traffic
- Utilized the Citizens Tax Advisory Committee to garner resident input on tax lowering opportunities
- Developed the Green Team, a now state-certified group that seeks ways for Hillsdale to become more earth-friendly, such as increasing items that can be recycled and placing recycling containers around town
