Orange County Health Department (OCHD) is pleased to announce that staff member Thomas Privott received the Dr. Trenton G. Davis Award in at the Eastern District North Carolina Public Health Association (EDNCPHA) Conference in May 2026. The award is the EDNCPHA’s highest award for environmental health professionals, presented in recognition of distinguished and devoted service. Thomas is OCHD's Onsite Water Protection & Groundwater Protection Programs Supervisor.

During his seven years with the Orange County Health Department, Mr. Privott has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advancing the practice of environmental health beyond the expectations of his position. His leadership in onsite water protection, emergency preparedness, and professional collaboration has significantly strengthened environmental health protections within Orange County and across the state.

Baker room on the second floor of the Whitted Human Services Building (300 W. Tryon St, Hillsborough). The cost is $60 per person to participate.
