The Goldman Fire Protection District is pleased to announce that we were awarded the spring Jefferson Foundation grant to be able to purchase a new Stryker Lucas 3 chest compression device as well as other medical supplies. This new equipment will allow us to better serve the residence of Goldman Fire Protection District and surrounding areas. We want to thank the Jefferson foundation for this grant and knew the equipment. The new equipment has been trained with and now in service for when the need arises.

Last week Captain Brown and Firefighter Worth were invited to attend the Twin Pines Subdivision grand opening. Our crew enjoyed being able to meet new and prospective residents of the district.

Yesterday your Goldman firefighters trained on extracting a downed firefighter up stairs. In this line of work it is important to train for every possible scenario! It is also important that we train with mutual aid departments so we work well together on the fire grounds. Thank you Festus Fire Department and Crystal City Fire Department for inviting us out!
