Road Work Notice:

Hubert Oye & Sons will be in town starting next week to work on a few areas of town. Here's the places they'll be focusing on:

1) N Main Street, between 2nd Ave NW & 5th Ave NW (section close to the City Shop)

2) 1st Ave SW, between 1st St SW & 2nd St SW (on the south side of Miller's Fresh Foods)

3) 2nd Ave SW, between 2nd St SW and 4th St SW (by the County Shop, close to Olson's Softball Complex)

Pending good weather, the work should be fairly quick. Thank you all!

A quick reminder about the purpose of getting this done: This is a requirement entrusted to local governments by the Federal Government. This is being done to document the type of water line coming into your home, and to ensure it will be replaced. Without proper documentation of the water line coming into your home, the city will be required to "pothole" your curb stop and determine the type of pipe coming into your house. This may be at the homeowners expense. Please get this survey finished if you have not done so already--we are happy to help. Thank you!

NOTICE: Public Works will be digging up a gate valve near the intersection of 3rd Ave NE and 4th St NE tomorrow morning. The highlighted areas in the picture below may be affected by the water being shut off to fix the leak. There is no estimated timetable of when it will be finished. Further updates will be posted on this post.
