7th Grade Football Results from 9/10/2026

Last night it came down to rivalries and fun. Your Hillsboro Eagles traveled to Whitney to take on the Wildcats and the Eagles brought it with talons at the ready. The 7th grade is beginning to learn the sport and teamwork as they showed what it meant to be Hillsboro tough. Parlo Howard came through with great reads and readiness on the offense and made sure to spread the love with his fellow offensive players. On defense every player played their part in making sure that the ball didn't get to move very often. The coaches were all very proud of each and every player. Come out next week as the Eagles swoop in to take on Rogers here at home.

Our Battle for Hill County Peanut Butter Challenge ended up in a TIE.

Both Student Council Sponsors ended up with a Pie in the Face at the Game.

Our Student Council President Jocelyn Chaire pied Whitney Junior High’s Jennifer Delgado and a Whitney Cheerleader pied our very own Mr. Long.

We very proudly donated over 300 jars of Peanut Butter to two local food banks. Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries and Home Church of Whitney.

There are already rumors of another challenge coming soon!

🧪 Science in Action! 🔬

Ms. Schreiber's students became scientists today! They made predictions about what they thought would happen during their experiment and then observed the results. They loved practicing their science skills through hands-on learning! 🧠✨

TONIGHT is the NIGHT!

We are having our Battle for Hill County Peanut Butter Challenge game tonight in Whitney.

Hillsboro Junior High Student Council and Whitney Junior High Student Council have challenged each other to a friendly competition to benefit local food banks. We have a ton of Creamy Peanut Butter that has been collected and you can still bring some to the game as well!

We will find out which administrator gets the pie in the face at our Pep Rally today!
