On behalf of Abilities at Work, we would like to extend our congratulations to Matt, who started last Friday at the Hillsboro Medical Center.

Matt is already learning many of the different tasks involved in the kitchen. As the saying goes, "teamwork makes the dream work “and that is most certainly true here.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our longtime friend George Turner. His kindness, warmth and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many. He will forever remain in our hearts. 

Through the years George has worked at UniFirst corporation, Popeyes and remained a volunteer at the American Red Cross through his employment almost up until his death. He was determined to live out his life helping others.

ATTENTION PLEASE

We have made the difficult decision to cancel the AAW picnic this year due to concerns about health and safety. Between the high temperatures and unhealthy air quality forecasted for Thursday, this event cannot be held safely. We apologize for the inconvenience and short notice. We will miss seeing everyone at the picnic and look forward to seeing you all next year.
