Information from the 9-3-26 5:45 p.m. all-call:

Rainsboro Elementary only will be dismissing at 12:30 tomorrow, Friday, September 4, due to the continued heat advisory and work on the air conditioning. There will be no afternoon preschool. Dismissal for morning preschool students will be handled as it was today. If you have questions, please contact the office staff in the morning. They will be happy to assist.

Lunch will be provided to students before dismissal tomorrow.

We are so sad to end the week this way, but we look forward to everything being repaired and ready to go after fair break. Thank you for your patience. Have a good evening!

Rainsboro Elementary only will be dismissing at 12:30 tomorrow, Thursday, September 3, due to the afternoon heat that is forecasted and lack of air conditioning. There will be no afternoon preschool. Dismissal for morning preschool students will be handled as it was on Tuesday. If you have questions, please contact the office staff in the morning. They will be happy to assist.

Lunch will be provided to students before dismissal tomorrow.

We are so very sorry for the inconvenience! We did receive good news that the needed part is in Columbus and will arrive at the school tomorrow! Thank you for your patience. Have a good evening!

Rainsboro Elementary only will be dismissing at 12:30 tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2, due to the afternoon heat that is forecasted and lack of air conditioning. We are hopeful that it will be the last day we have to dismiss early!

Lunch will be provided to students before dismissal tomorrow.

We greatly apologize for the inconvenience! We will continue to make decisions daily as we await the arrival of the part needed to repair the air conditioning. Thank you for your patience. Have a good evening!

Information from the 8-30-26 6:00 p.m. all-call for Rainsboro Elementary families:

Rainsboro Elementary ONLY will be dismissing at 12:30 tomorrow, Monday, August 31, due to the afternoon heat that is forecasted and lack of air conditioning. There will be no afternoon preschool. Most preschool students who attend in the morning can be transported back home by bus, although because they will be riding with elementary students, their return time will be delayed by approximately 45 minutes. Rainsboro school staff will make contact with preschool parents tomorrow to confirm transportation plans.

Lunch will be provided to students before dismissal tomorrow.

Important bus route information for the 2026-2027 school year:

Parents and guardians will be receiving an email today with pick-up and drop-off locations and times for their child. Included in this post is a sample email so you know what to expect.

If your email address is not up-to-date in FinalForms, you will not receive the email.

If your child rides a bus, it is important that you review the information carefully. Thank you!

Call the bus garage @ 937-981-2620 if you have questions. Because the email is sent from Transfinder, we will not receive a reply email if you send one.
