The Governor of Florida sent out an Executive Order #26-33 (Emergency Management - Impacts of droughts, winter weather, & wildfire risks)
advising specific counties of NO FIRES for 60 Days due to drought conditions, elevating wildland fire concerns, and lack of rainfall. Broward County was included in this list.
February 11, 2026 - April 12, 2026

The Autism Cares program is an initiative in Hillsboro Beach designed to improve interactions between first responders and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The program's primary goal is to enhance safety for individuals with autism and provide officers with critical information to tailor their response in a crisis situation.
