NEW parking regulations to go into effect on August 19, 2026.

Due to public safety concerns, the Norwich Township Board of Trustees passed a resolution on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the noon regular Trustee meeting, to regulate the parking of vehicles on Darbyshire Drive and Cameron Road during the hours of 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM during school days.
The Board's intentions are to continue to allow the Drop-Off Zone for students to access the Darbyshire Drive Bridge to Ridgewood Elementary.

A large tree limb is down on Schirtzinger Road. No through traffic at this time. Be careful in this area. Our Road crew is working to clear the obstruction.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Franklin County Outdoor Warning Siren Test Canceled

To prevent confusion during these weather conditions, Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security (FCEM&HS) will suspend the noon test of the Franklin County Outdoor Warning Siren System today, May 27, 2026.

If the sirens sound, it means the National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for the area, and residents should take immediate action to seek shelter and stay safe.

The Norwich Township Administration Office is closed today in observance of the holiday.
We hope you'll join us for the Memorial Day Ceremony this morning at 10:00 am at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery (3225 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH).
However you celebrate and remember, we wish you a safe and happy holiday.

Local Waste's services will be delayed by one day this week due to the holiday on Monday. Please have all waste out no later than 6:00 am, or the night before, to ensure service.

Services will resume to your normal collection day the following week, beginning June 1st.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Trabue Road Bridge Closure 🚧

The Trabue Road Bridge over the Scioto River will be CLOSED overnight on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM (weather permitting) for a bridge deck pour.

Upcoming City of Hilliard roadway and bridge improvements.

EDITED JUNE 1, 2026: The City of Hilliard portion of this project has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. When a new start date is announced, we will update the information on the web page linked below.

ORIGINAL POST: Starting June 1, improvements are coming to the Roberts Road corridor! 🚧

Two upcoming projects will bring major infrastructure upgrades to the area, including:
💡 New street lighting
🚶 New sidewalks
🚴 A shared-use path
🛣️ Roadway and bridge improvements

Construction will mean temporary traffic impacts and detours, but these upgrades will help create safer, more connected travel for everyone in our community. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue investing in Hilliard's infrastructure and future.
