Round Lake declares a SNOW ALERT:
With the weekend forecast, this is a reminder that when we have a snow alert, there is NO PARKING on any Round Lake streets until snow has been cleared curb to curb. Please plan ahead and park in your garage, driveway or space you've made to park on during snow alerts. Thank you!

Public announcement:

The Public Works Department will be gathering information on the gas meters in town, you may see them walking around your property. They will be taking pictures of the gas meters located in your yard. Based on the age of the meter, they will be replacing the meters that require it in 2026, and this step will help them create a list for replacement.

Cold Weather Reminder: With subzero temperatures expected , if you do not have a basement or if your water lines are prone to freezing, please take precautions now to prevent freeze-ups. This may include leaving cabinet doors open, allowing a small drip of water to run, and ensuring vulnerable pipes are properly insulated. Taking these steps can help prevent frozen or broken water lines.

City of Round Lake Snow Removal Alert:

Snow plows will be on city streets starting at 4:00 AM on Monday, December 29th. Please keep all cars, trucks, and trailers off city streets until snow removal is completed curb-to-curb. If possible, place garbage cans on the boulevard or in driveways, not on the street. Vehicles left on the roadway may be towed per city ordinance.
