Graham County-USD 281 serves approximately 382 students from Hill City, Bogue, Morland, Nicodemus, Damar, St. Our staff includes 1 superintendent, 2 building administrators, 2
counselors, 35 certified teachers, and 21 classified staff members. We are members of the Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center and Smoky Hill Education Service Center. The next accreditation cycle runs Fall 2022-Spring 2027. During this time we will conduct a needs assessment, establish goals, and work to continually improve various aspects of our district such as student achievement and climate and culture. HILL CITY GRADE SCHOOL
Hill City Grade School hosts students in grades K-6; approximately 209 students are enrolled at HCGS. In addition, HCGS houses the Graham County Early Childhood Department which serves 33 pre-school students. Students enjoy a variety of regular classroom activities as well as music and PE every day. HILL CITY JUNIOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Hill City Junior Senior High School has an enrollment of approximately 173 students in grades 7-12. In addition to core classes, we offer a range of electives: FACS, Art, Crafts, Band, Vocal Music, Agriculture, Technology, and Industrial Arts. We also offer six Career & Technical Education Pathways: Construction and Design; Family, Community, and Consumer Services; Web and Digital Communications; Power, Structural, and Technical Systems; Comprehensive Agricultural Science; and Teaching/Training.
