family - helping families to be healthy, to grow in love
and to be equipped to live life to their fullest potential. Regularly scheduled outreach events are hosted and
are open to the men, women and children of the
community and include; Food Distribution, Medi
cal
Services, Clothing Services, Movie / Entertainment
Events, and Barbeque Socials. Other community
building events include sports activities, hiking,
hobbies, biking, and other events that encourage
healthy families in the community. Our Community Education efforts are open-to-the
public and classes are offered to the community
(men, women and children) as a way to engage in the
greater needs of the community and to expand the
scope of services beyond young women within the
service age range. These public classes include;
Resume Building, Career Seeking, Cooking Health
and Wellness, Parenting Classes, Certified Anger
Management Classes, Art Therapy Classes and
other life skills classes that will be determined by
the needs found in the community. Our Residential Recovery Program for young women
has been uniquely and specifically crafted to meet the
complex needs of young women in the Short Creek
community who are struggling with a variety of life
controlling issues. Designed for young women
between the ages of 18 and 26 years old, participants
have access to Licensed Counseling, Medical and
Behavioral Health Care, Emotion Based Therapy. Educational Classes include; Celebrate Recovery,
Certified Anger Management, GED or High School
Diploma, Nutrition, Finance, Career, Music and Arts,
Relationship Building and Parenting Classes.
