The Borough of Highlands Police Department does not agree with or endorse every comment that individuals may post on our page. While social media may be a 24/7 medium, our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every inappropriate comment immediately. We trust the members of our community to be mature and ignore personal attacks, negative speech and to respond politely. Additionally, with specific exceptions, complaints signed after an arrest/incident are public information and is subject to be released. All persons and suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
