The Town of Lloyd Police Department extends our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt support to the officer from the Town of Saugerties Police Department who was seriously injured in the line of duty.
As a result of a violent assault that occured, the officer has suffered the loss of vision in one eye. This tragic injury serves as a stark reminder of the risks law enforcement officers face each day.
We are hopeful that, through the care and expertise of the specialists treating him, he will make a full recovery. During this difficult time, we ask our community to keep this young officer, his family, and his fellow officers in your thoughts and prayers.
