❄️ IMPORTANT WINTER STORM UPDATE – Village of Highland Falls Residents ❄️

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area, with heavy snow expected starting Sunday (February 22) into Monday (February 23). Accumulations of several inches (potentially up to a foot in parts of the region) are forecast, along with strong winds that could create hazardous conditions, drifting snow, and difficult travel.

To ensure our streets can be plowed efficiently and safely during and after the storm:

🚫 NO ON-STREET PARKING is permitted on Village streets during snow removal operations.

This will go into effect Sunday morning and remain throughout the storm period.

Please move your vehicles to off-street parking (driveways, private lots, etc.) as soon as possible. Vehicles left on the streets will interfere with plowing, create safety hazards, and may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our roads clear so our DPW crew can do their job quickly and effectively. Stay safe, limit travel if possible, and check on neighbors who may need assistance.

If you have questions or need any assistance please call us at (845) 446-4911.
Stay warm and stay informed!
