🔥 Burn Ban in Effect for All NC Counties 🔥

Due to increased fire risk, the N.C. Forest Service has issued a ban on all open burning and canceled all burning permits statewide.

This ban goes into effect Friday, March 21 at 8 a.m. and will remain in place until further notice.

Help prevent wildfires by following the ban and avoiding any outdoor burning.

At 15:05 Station 21 was dispatched to a over turned dump truck upon arrival crews found a log truck that had overturned off the roadway on its side onto guardrail all patients were free upon arrival the city of Gastonia hazmat team was dispatched reference to a fluid leak, the gaston county fire marshal’s office as well Spencer Mountain Fire Department, GEMS Gaston County Police and DOT also responded. Units were on scene about 4 hours until the roadway was cleared and back open.
