On Friday, Mrs. Casey’s 2nd graders kicked off their morning meeting with a fun teamwork challenge—creating their very own handshakes with a partner! ✋✨ It was a great way to practice cooperation, creativity, and connection while having lots of fun together! 🦁

✨🎨🎶📚🤸 **Exciting things are happening in our Early Childhood Program!** 🤸📚🎶🎨✨

Our little learners are now getting the opportunity to experience **Special Areas** like **Gym, Art, Music, and Library!** 💛

From moving and playing in Gym 🤸 to creating masterpieces in Art 🎨, singing and exploring sounds in Music 🎶, and developing a love for books in Library 📚, these experiences give our students even more opportunities to **learn, grow, explore, and have FUN!** 🌟

Special Areas help our children build confidence, spark curiosity, develop important social and motor skills, and support their overall growth and development. 💫

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has embraced this exciting change! Your support and enthusiasm are helping us create a fun, enriching, and dynamic learning environment for our little learners. 🥰

👓✨ **Kids Vision for Life is coming to MURPHY!** ✨👓

Vision screenings will take place on **Thursday, September 10th** at MES!

✅ **No consent form is needed for the initial screening.**

After the screenings, families of students who do not pass will receive a consent form to send home. Students needing a further exam must return the signed consent form to receive a **FREE eye exam and glasses** when Kids Vision for Life returns! 🤓💙

Mrs. Tindall’s kindergarten class has been busy learning all about math centers! Our little Lions are practicing new skills, working together, and having lots of fun along the way! 🦁✏️🧮

The fifth graders in Mrs. Hesker’s room have been learning all about dialogue! After a mini lesson on how to properly use and punctuate dialogue, students put their new skills to the test with a fun partner activity. Their challenge? Communicate with their partner using only dialogue—no talking allowed! Students had to rely on written dialogue, punctuation, and their creativity to get their messages across. It was a fun way to practice an important writing skill while putting their learning into action!
