Customers living west of Higginsville on Rocky Branch Trail and east of Rocky Branch Trail along Beattie Rd will be without water while the City of Higginsville repairs a leak. Once water service is restored, affected customers will be under a BOIL ADVISORY until Thursday, September 10, at 5:00 p.m.

1:15 p.m. UPDATE - The leak has been found on Hwy 213! Customers along Hwy 213 north of Rolling Hills Rd, along Rolling Hills Rd, and north of Rolling Hills Rd along Cottonwood Rd will be without water until the leak is fixed. Everyone else should start to get water service back as the system repressurizes.

Noon Update: All customers affected by the interruption in water service this morning will be under a boil advisory until further notice.

We are still looking and will not stop until the source of the disruption is fixed! We appreciate all the support we have received during this difficult search!!

Water Outage-- Customers East of 213 HWY, 20 HWY North, west of 23 HWY and all along 24 HWY to Waverly are without water this morning. Crews are out trying to find the leak. All customers along the yellow lines in the picture below will be experiencing low to no water. We will keep customers updated as we know more.

UPDATE 10:00 p.m. The leak has been located and isolated. There should only be one residence affected and pressure should be restored soon to everyone else.

There is a water outage south of Higginsville affecting customers in the Route T area. The staff is out looking for the cause. Water will be restored as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Our friends to the south in Sweet Springs unfortunately woke up to a leak. 😳 This was pulling pressure away from our system. The City has isolated the leak(s) and our system's pressure has been restored. If you are still experiencing pressure issues, please let our office know! We wish the City the best as they fix their water mains.

Customers north of Sweet Springs are reporting no and low water pressure. We are working to find the issue.
