🇺🇸 City Hall offices will be closed on Monday, May 25.
⭐️ Transfer Station will be open Saturday, from 9am-Noon.
🚛 Trash pick up will run as normally scheduled on Monday. Please be sure to have your cans to the curb/street Sunday evening.

💦 Public Works has been working on repairs to the splash pad this week. We are waiting on a part and hope to have it up and running by end of next week! We’ll be sure to share when it’s ready! 🤿

May 16th, 2026 was the end of National Police Week and the first day our team was all in the same place. Thank you to the men and women of the Hico Police Department. The Texas Steak Cookoff was a great event again this year and we all had a good time!

‼️ City Hall offices will be closed Friday, May 15th.
⛔️ First Street from Live Oak St to Mesquite will be closed off, along with Elm Street and Pecan Street from Second St (Hwy 6) to N Railroad.
🍔🥩 We hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!
⭐️ Also.. the Transfer Station will NOT be open this Saturday. We will re-schedule it to be open Saturday, May 23rd.
