Today was one of the wetter days to march, but it was well worth it for those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice. We were especially proud to have veterans from our civic as the Grand Marshalls of this year’s parade: Jerry O’Brien, Frank Guarasci, and Joe Dubon.

We wish you a meaningful Memorial Day and hope you take a moment to honor those who fought to secure our freedom and way of life.

Please be aware of S. Oyster Bay Rd closures due to railroad work this Saturday.

In addition, there will be a full closure of the S Oyster Bay Road Crossing this Saturday, March 7th, from 4AM until 4PM. During this time, crews will be performing essential track maintenance, including rail replacement, to improve the safety, reliability, and overall performance of our system.

New South Road will serve as the best detour route. MTAPD will be on-site to support both upcoming closures and ensure safety.
