6/4 NCPAL: Spring Semifinal
The Final has been set.
Roslyn 80 Uniondale 56
Roslyn took an 18-15 1st quarter lead. Roslyn's attack was led by Luke Geller with 4 & Maxim Li 10, hitting 2 3's, Uniondale's attack was led by Cameron Ockiney with 9 & Jayten Oden with 10.

Both teams opened up in man to man. The teams switched defenses throughout the game. Roslyn used man to man full court pressure as well as a 2.2.1 dropping back into a zone or man. Uniondale started in man to man, switched to a half court zone trap.

The 2nd quarter had Roslyn's Ben Pnini score 13 points & playing tough man to man defense on Uniondale's Ockiney, holding him to 3 points in the 2nd. Roslyn out scored Uniondale 20-15 in the 2nd. Uniondale's scoring was done by Oden with 6 & Jayten Barrows 6. Roslyn led 38-30 at the half.

The 2 teams played close in the 3rd quarter Roslyn scored 20 & Uniondale 18. Roslyn's Maxim Li scored 5 & Pnini 8. Uniondale's Ockiney scored 5, Oden 6 & Barrows 7. Barrows dominated the boards at both ends during the game. Roslyn led 59-48 after 3.

Roslyn used full court pressure to start the 4th quarter. Roslyn's Devon White led the attack with drives to the hoop, scoring 8 points. Roslyn's d held Uniondale to 8 4th quarter points . Roslyn scored 21 to seal the win. Uniondale's Ockiney fouled out in the 4th

Uniondale had 3 players in double figures: Cameron Ockiney & Jayden Oden 21 each. Jayten
Barrows had 14.

Roslyn had 3 players in double figures: Devon White 13, Max Li 19 & Ben Pnini 26. Pnini's defense on Uniondale's Ockiney was pivotal in the game.

NCPAL Spring Playoff Results Tuesday 6/2
Uniondale 62 Mepham 43 (Quarterfinal)
Uniondale jumped out to a 19-12 1st quarter lead. Uniondale hit 3 3's in the quarter. 2 by Jayton Barrows & 1 by Cameron Ockney. Mepham's scoring was done by Frank Fasano, hitting a 3 & Jacob Benerati adding 4.
Both teams started in man but would change defenses during the game. Uniondale switched to full pressure using a 1.2.2 & 1.3.1 in the 2nd quarter. Mepham played a 2.1.2 zone the rest of the game.
Uniondale held Mepham to 7 points in the 2nd quarter, while scoring 18. Mepham's Caleb Caraballo scored 4 & Sean Radoncic hit a 3. Uniondale's scoring was done by Jayden Ockney with 7 & Cameron Ockney hitting 2 3's. Uniondale led 30-16 at the half.
The teams played even in the 2nd half. Uniondale's d kept Mepham off balance in the 2nd half, not allowing Mepham to get back in the game.
Mepham's leading scorers were Frank Fasano with 11 & Sean Radoncic & Caleb Caraballo with 12 each.
Uniondale's leading scorers were Jayten Barrows with 11, Jayden Oden 13 & Cameron Ockney with 22, hitting 6 3's.

Roslyn over Manhasset (Quarterfinal)
Manhasset had 4 players in double figures:
Andrew Giallias 12, Jacob Sehr 13, Chris V. 16 & Max Cellura 19
Roslyn had 6 players in double figures:
Trystin Pope & Ben Graziani 10 each, Ben Pnini & Maxim Li with 14 each, Luke Geller 13 & Matt Kanover 16. Roslyn hit 12 3's.

NCPAL Spring League Playoff Results 6/1 Monday
1st Semifinalist is in!
Plainview 57 Carle Place 49
CP jumped out to an 18-15 1st quarter lead. CP's #52 scored 8, hitting 2 3's. Plainview's Andrew Ma scored 11 points, scoring his points on drives to the hoop!
Both teams opened up in man to man d. Later CP switched to a 2.1..2 zone.

Plainview came back in the 2nd quarter, scoring 17 & its defense held CP to 7. Plainview hit 3 3's in the 2nd quarter. Plainview's Dan Danyan hit 2 & Jayden Iroth 1, CP's Chris Gaulrapp scored 3.
Plainview led 32-25.

Plainview scored 15 with Dan Danyan scoring 8. CP's Big Mo, Mario D'Alessandro . scored 11 in the 3rd. Plainview led 47-38 after 3.

CP outscored Plainview 11-10 but it wasn't enough to overcome its deficit . CP shot 5 for 6 from the line in the 4th. 4 players scored for CP. Plainview had 5 players score in the 4th.

CP had 3 players in double figures: Evan Mehalalkes 11, #52 12 & Mario D'Alessandro 13,
Plainview also had 3 players in double figures: Jayden Iroth 11, Dan Danyan 16, hitting 3 3's & Andrew Ma 18.

Plainview advances to the Final as of Tuesday, 6/9.

5/20 Wed. NCPAL Spring League Results

Plainview 55 LB 53
Plainview took a 19-16 1st quarter lead. Plainview's Andrew Ma & Dan Danyan both had 6 & Jayden iroth hit a 3. LB's Drew Kaufman had 7 & Gavin O'Grady scored 4.
Both teams started in man to man. Plainview stayed in it the whole game. LB switched to a zone later in the game.
Plainview's Ma scored 6 as the Hawks outscored the Marines 16-10 in the 2nd. LB's O'Grady & Xavier Straub scored 4 each, The Hawks led 35-26 at the half.
The 2nd half was a different story for the Marines. The zone defense helped the Marines dominate the boards & get steals. LB's Kaufman scored 5 & Straub hit 2 3's. The Hawks Iroth hit 2 3's. The Marines held the Hawks to 13 in the 3rd & scored 18 to cut the lead to 4, 48-44.
The Marines used a full court press in the last 2 minutes, forcing turnovers & steals. LB's Kaufman hit a 3 & shot 1 for 2 from the line & Straub hit 2 3's. The Hawks Iroth scored 5 & Chase Ruhling added 4. LB had a chance to cut the lead at the foul line. LB made the 1st foul shot, missed the 2nd but Plainview got the rebound to seal the win.
LB had 3 players in double figures: Xavier Straub 10, Jason Trahan 11 & Drew Kaufman 16.
Plainview's leading scorers were: Andrew Ma with 14 & Jayden Iroth 13, hitting 4 3's.

5/19 Tuesday NCPAL Spring League Results
Plainview over Plainedge
Plainedge's Leading scorers: Jackson Bianchi 12, hitting 4 3's & Domn Gulino 9.
Plainview had 3 players in double figures: Andrew Ma 13, Jayden Iroth 12 & Danny Dayan 20, hitting 5 3's.

GNN 69 LB 65
GNN jumped out to a 20-10 1st quarter lead. GNN's Justin Rahmanzada led the attack with 8 points & Liev Mazroumi & Mason Asher both added 5. LB's Zack Brymer & Xavoier Straub had 5 & 3 for LB.
Both teams would mix up their defenses, switching from man to zone & full court pressure.
GNN scored 19 in the 2nd quarter with Michael Haimof scoring 8. LB had 3 players score 4 points each: Brymer, Earl Bulan & Gavin O'Grady. GNN led 35-25 at the half.
The 3rd quarter saw LB starting a comeback. LB outscored GNN 19-15, LB's O'Grady scored 6 & #15 8, hitting 2 3's. GNN scoring was done by Asner & Lax Michael Zhou with 4 each. GNN led 59-45 after 3.
The 4th quarter was action packed. LB used some full court pressure & a half court trap
LB forced turnovers & court steals that led to quick & easy hoops for it. LB's scoring was led by Brymer with 7 & Drew Kaufman 7. GNN's lead was 6 with 1 minute to go! LB's Brymer hit a 3 to cut the lead to 3. Kaufman hit a foul shot to cut the lead to 2. On the next GNN possession, with a chance to tie, LB missed a layup. GNN had a wide open man down court who hit an uncontested layup to seal the win for GNN.
LB had 4 players in double figures: #15 10, Xavier Straub 13, Gavin O'Grady 14, & Zack Brymer with 17.
GNN also had 4 players in double figures: Mason Enyatian & Justin Rahmanzada 11 each, Lax Michael Zhou 13 & Michael Haimof 14.
