SUNDAY SEVERE THREAT: 11AM - 3PM

The latest data coming in this evening continues to show tomorrow's storms slowing down. That means the atmosphere has more time to "fuel up", so the risk for severe weather is higher than it appeared just 12 hours ago. Gusty winds are the main threat, but isolated hail and a tornado can't be ruled out. Plan to stay weather aware during the midday hours Sunday, just in case.

FIRST ALERT: Heavy rain and high winds could head our way next Wednesday night into Thursday. Rain totals of at least 1-2" are possible, and winds may gust over 40 mph from Wednesday night into Thursday. There could also be some strong to severe storms... stay tuned for updates!

COOLER AIR INCOMING | It was a hot and humid week, but much cooler and drier air is going to make a comeback this weekend into next week.

Highs will still reach the mid 80s Saturday, but with lower humidity it will feel cooler than mid 80s did yesterday, for instance.

Then there's Sunday - highs in the mid 70s, blustery, occasional showers.

All of next week it also looks like we'll stay on the cooler side, predominately in the 70s versus 80s!

What this also likely means locally is lower severe chances for at least the next week.

WEEKEND: Another warm one in Toledo, with some NW Ohio highs likely cracking the low-90s Saturday. A Sunday cold front will deliver some scattered thundershowers (ending by late afternoon), and provide cooler temps in the 70s for several days to follow.
