✨ Open House was a SUCCESS! 🐎❤️🖤

We had such a great turnout for our Open House last night! It was wonderful to see so many of our Mustang families back in the building, meeting teachers, reconnecting with friends, and getting ready for an exciting new school year.

A special shout-out to Plush Kutz Barber College for helping our Mustangs look their best by providing free haircuts! 💈✂️ We are so grateful for your support of our students and our school community!

We had a great start to the 26-27 school year as we brought our staff together to IGNITE the school year and Spark the Stampede at Murray! Please join us in welcoming Erica Childers to Murray Elementary Schools as our new Art teacher.

My name is Erica Childers, and I am thrilled to join Webb A. Murray Elementary as the new Elementary Art Teacher.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, along with teaching licenses for Birth-Kindergarten and Kindergarten-6th grade. My background includes extensive knowledge in child development, paired with a lifelong love for art inspired by my grandmother and my studies in art and interior design.

My husband and I have been married for nearly 17 years, and we have a wonderful, spirited 11-year-old daughter. In my free time, I enjoy interior decorating, arts and crafts, reading, drinking coffee, and visiting historical locations.

I am so excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to inspiring our students and guiding their love for art!

Please join us in welcoming Erica Eller to Murray Elementary School.

Hi everyone! My name is Erica Eller, and I am so excited to be joining Webb A. Murray as a first-grade teacher this year! I recently graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and am beginning my teaching career after spending the past two years as a teacher assistant. I’m passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels loved, supported, and excited to learn. Outside of school, I’ve been happily married for six years, and my husband and I have an amazing 7 year old daughter who keeps us busy with pageants and competitive dance. When I’m not in the classroom or cheering her on, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking trips on the motorcycle with my husband, watching motocross, reading, and being outdoors. I can’t wait to make this a wonderful school year!
