📣 Please join us in welcoming Mr. Justin Lunsford as the new Assistant Principal of Webb A. Murray Elementary School!

Mr. Lunsford brings 13 years of experience in education, beginning as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Throughout his career, he has served as both a classroom teacher and school administrator, including six years of administrative experience at West Lincoln Middle School and Lincolnton High School.

Mr. Lunsford is passionate about education and believes strongly in the power of building meaningful relationships with students, families, staff, and the community. He is excited to join the Murray family and looks forward to supporting the success of every student.

Outside of school, Mr. Lunsford enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and their three children: Ezekiel, Ronan, and Penelope.

We are excited to welcome Mr. Lunsford to Webb A. Murray Elementary and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students, staff, and community!

Marcie has worn many hats over the years, quite literally keeping our students safe and on the right track! From being the cheerful face that greeted them at the bus doors first thing in the morning, to providing patient, loving support in the classroom, Marcie’s dedication has shaped so many young lives.

Nurse Melanie has been our resident healer, comforter, and healthcare hero. Whether it was ice packs for bumped knees, soothing words for homesick bellies, or keeping our entire school healthy and safe, Melanie handled every situation with unmatched grace, expertise, and a warm smile.

Marcie and Melanie, thank you for your endless patience, your unwavering dedication, and the countless lives you’ve touched. Our hallways won't be the same without you, but we wish you the most relaxing, joyful, and well-deserved retirement!

What a totally rad day at our End of Year Celebration for Catawba County Schools! 🎉🎶

We had the best time celebrating with our Webb A. Murray family and showing off our Mustang pride along with our Saint Stephens feeder spirit! ❤️🖤

Our amazing Pao Yang was recognized for being named our school’s Teacher of the Year! We were so excited to cheer her on and celebrate such a well-deserved honor. 👏

From singing at the top of our lungs to dancing like it was the 1980s, today was full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. 📼✨
