For years the criteria for inclusion into American presidential debates were based upon unreliable polls that failed to even ask about all the candidates on America’s ballots. It’s time to stop determining who gets to be heard by relying on faulty popularity contests.

Fellow Taxpayer,

Tax season is starting. Are you happy about it? I'm not.

Tax code compliance in America is estimated to cost our economy more than $600 BILLION every year.

That's an awful lot of money that could be used for paying down our debt, erasing deficits, funding social programs, boosting our national defense, fixing Social Security, lowering Medicare costs, or fixing other high priority items.

The Two Party Duopoly just gave us another TRILLION dollar deficit. This insanity has to stop.
A few days ago, I told you about Our America’s new Stop the Duopoly Campaign. I pointed out that the two major parties have conspired to give us an unsustainable $20 trillion debt.
If you didn’t believe me then, believe me now. Last week, the Republicans and Democrats got together and passed a budget “deal” that will push the annual deficit for 2019 to an estimated $1.2 TRILLION. That’s just for one year.
Stop the Duopoly
Of course, the congressional leaders of both parties almost broke their arms patting themselves on the back for their bipartisan cooperation. I would suggest that it isn’t difficult to cooperate when two parties just agree to give each other what they want. The Republicans wanted more defense spending, and the Democrats wanted more non-defense spending.
So...they just did both.
This, while the nation’s top intelligence officials are testifying on Capitol Hill TODAY that our obscene national debt is likely the greatest threat to our national security.
But Congress and the President don’t want to talk about the debt. They just want to talk about how many Facebook ads the Russians are buying.
It doesn’t have to be this way. The American people see the scam. They just don’t see a way out of it - yet. That’s why we are launching our Stop the Duopoly campaign. Legal obstacles to third party and independent candidates can be torn down. Debates can be opened to all qualified candidates.
But giving people more choices won’t happen until voters demand it. Empowering those demands is exactly what our Stop the Duopoly campaign will do: Rallies, fighting for fair ballot access, national media appearances, mobilizing millions of grassroots advocates, training candidates.
Next week, I am headed to Washington, DC, for media appearances and events where I will talk about how the two “major” parties are doing nothing but giving us more government and less freedom.
