It’s our turn to cheer on Tom Schmitz from Hiawatha Public Schools-USD 415 As a volunteer track coach, teacher, and dad, Tom enjoys cheering athletes on to do their best. He loves guiding athletes to improve in their events. Whether he’s coaching state-medalist high jumpers or working behind the scenes to make sure track meets run smoothly, Tom’s passion for the sport and his athletes shine bright. Congrats, Tom!

Thank you to Alayna Nigus and her children for donating these amazing gifts of two full sets of clubs and bags to the girls and boys golf teams at HHS! Every year they host the Birdies for Bryce golf tournament in honor of their late husband and father and donate procedes and gifts back to the community in his name. Please consider playing in the tournament if you're able to. Great fun for a great cause!
