We had a great time visiting the Hewitt Elementary today for Fire Safety Week!

It’s always a pleasure to spend time with our students and help teach important fire safety lessons that can help keep them, their families, and our community safe.

A special thank you to the Hewitt Leaders for having us out and for being such great participants. We’re proud to be part of a community that values fire safety and education.

Thank you for the kind words and for allowing us to be a part of Fire Safety Week!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our Open House and braved the rain to join us. We were grateful to see so many members of our community enjoying breakfast, touring the station, and visiting with our firefighters.

We also want to give a special thank you to Kade Perry for volunteering his time and helping us make the event a success. We truly appreciate his willingness to step up and help wherever he was needed.

Events like this are possible because of the support of our community. We are incredibly thankful for everyone who took the time to spend part of their morning with us.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

A quick update for our upcoming Hewitt Fire Department Open House & Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, October 3rd, from 8:00–10:00 AM.

With a potential change in the weather forecast, we are monitoring conditions that could affect parking and access at Station 2. Depending on the weather, we may relocate the event to Station 1 at the Hewitt Public Safety Facility.

We will make a final determination based on the conditions and will post any location change as soon as possible.

Regardless of the weather, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone for breakfast with the Hewitt Fire Department! And don’t forget to stick around afterward for the City of Hewitt’s Dog Days of Summer at Hewitt Park.

Stay tuned for updates!
