The Heuvelton Fire Department is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Brother Firefighter Bob Hynes.

Bob was an incredible asset to our community, always ready and willing to lend a hand. He could always be counted on to be there—from pancake breakfasts, chicken BBQs, calendar sales, and Labor Day events—Bob was always there.

Whether it was department business, functions, or emergency calls, Bob always had your back. His dedication, reliability, and quiet commitment to serving others made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to know him.

Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his presence will continue to be felt each day through his devotion to his community and, most importantly, his family.

Please keep the Hynes family in your thoughts and prayers during this extraordinarily difficult time.

Celebrate the life of Robert Hynes, leave a kind word or memory and get funeral service information care of Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

The members of the Heuvelton Fire Department are saddened to announce the passing of our brother, Neil Parish.

Neil dedicated 32 years of service to the Heuvelton Fire Department and the Heuvelton community. Throughout those years, he served with pride, commitment, and a willingness to answer the call whenever help was needed. Whether on an emergency scene, at department events, or lending a hand around the fire station, Neil was always someone the department could rely on.

Neil was not only a firefighter, but also a friend, mentor, and a voice of financial reasoning within the department. His guidance, steady perspective, and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on our members and our organization.

Today we remember not only a firefighter, but a friend and valued member of our community. The dedication and service Neil gave to this department and community will never be forgotten.

Please keep the Parish family and our department in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Neil. Your watch is over — we have it from here.
