VILLAGE OF HESSMER WATER SYSTEM WIDE BOIL ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE ! This is due to a routine inspection by the State on water tower #2. This advisory will probably be for at least a week. I will notify customers by social media, radio and television one we get the advisory is lifted. Than you for your patience and understanding.

BOIL ADVISORY NOTICE

SYSTEM WIDE BOIL ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED TO ALL CUSTOMERS OF THE HESSMER WATER SYSTEM DUE TO INSPECTION OF WATER TOWER # 2.

THE BOIL ADVISORY THAT WAS ISSUED AUGUST 8 FOR THE VILLAGE OF HESSMER HAS BEEN LIFTED.

The Village of Hessmer will be installing water values which will effect the customers in the following areas of town:

CUSTOMERS ON MAIN STREET FROM ROY ST., NEAR RAILROAD CROSSING, TO THE CITY LIMITS SIGN TOWARDS MARKSVILLE. THIS WILL INCLUDE PART OF LITTLE CORNER ROAD TO EDWIN GREMILLION ROAD, AND ALL SIDE ROADS WITHIN THIS AREA
Water will be shut off for a few hours . Once repairs are completed, ONLY those effected will be under a boil advisory.

CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE ADDRESS 2108 HWY. 115 (near Little Corner ) TO end of the Hessmer water line going towards Marksville, including all side roads within, WATER WILL BE SHUT OFF AS OUR CREWS ARE WORKING ON REPAIRING A WATER LINE. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT A BOIL ADVISORY HAS BEEN PLACE TO THESE CUSTOMERS UNTIL FUTHER NOTICE.

CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE ADDRESS OF 383 LITTLE CORNER ROAD TO 1102 LITTLE CORNER ROAD, WATER WILL BE SHUT OFF AS OUR CREWS ARE WORKING ON REPAIRING A WATER LINE. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT A BOIL ADVISORY HAS BEEN PLACE TO THESE CUSTOMERS UNTIL FUTHER NOTICE.

WORK IS COMPLETE ON HWY. 115.
THE ROAD IS NOW OPEN

The Village of Hessmer will establish a drop-off location at Town Hall to collect items for distribution to neighboring towns. Donations of supplies and non-perishable items will be accepted and directed to local shelters for those in need. Your support for our community and neighbors is greatly appreciated.
