The Mission of the Hesperia Unified School District Police Department is to provide the District community with a safe, secure, and tranquil environment in which to learn, grow, work and live. This is accomplished by partnering and collaborating with the community, by providing service in a professional, courteous manner and by affording dignity and respect to all individuals.

Protecting the community starts with investing in our future.

Over the past two weeks, our officers traded their patrol cars for picture books to celebrate Read Across America! We had an incredible time visiting elementary schools across the district, sharing stories, and answering some very “investigative” questions from our youngest citizens.

Building these bonds is the best part of the job. Huge thanks to the teachers and students for welcoming us into your classrooms!

Welcome back, students and families! We hope you all had a fantastic summer break. The Hesperia School Police Department is excited to see everyone for a new school year.

As we kick off another year of learning, let’s all work together to make our school’s traffic flow as smooth and safe as possible. We know the first few weeks can be a little hectic, so we’re asking for your help to ensure the safety of all our students.

Here are a few friendly reminders for a safe and successful school year:

Learn traffic patterns. Please familiarize yourself with the designated drop-off and pick-up zones and follow the instructions of school staff and officers.

Arrive early. Giving yourself extra time can reduce stress and prevent rushing, making the process safer for everyone.

Drive safely. Always obey the posted speed limits, put your phones away, and be extra cautious when students are present.

Let’s make this a great year, starting with a commitment to a safe and orderly school environment. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a wonderful school year!
