Congratulations to all our Student of the Day Winners from 8/24-8/28! Each student was chosen by their teacher for showing kindness, great character & dedicated to having a great start of the school year. Keep up the great work & we are so proud of our Cyclones!

Happy Friday, Cyclones!
Here is this week's newsletter. We hope you all have a wonderful and cool weekend. Remember to stay hydrated--especially at school. It is important to bring a refillable water bottle as we have a cold water, refilling station in the cafeteria.

TONIGHT is Back to School Night!
We look forward to seeing all of our wonderful Cypress students and their families.
Gates will be open from 5:00-6:00 pm.
Don't forget, we are doing a donation challenge to see which class can collect the most donations. All teachers will have donation folder in their classrooms.
PTC will be selling pizza, chips, and a drink to raise money to support students as well.
Hope to see you all tonight!

Esperamos ver a todos nuestros maravillosos estudiantes de Cypress y a sus familias.
Las puertas estarán abiertas de 5:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m.
No olviden que estamos realizando un desafío de donaciones para ver qué clase logra recaudar más. Todos los maestros tendrán una carpeta para las donaciones en sus aulas.
La PTC también venderá pizza, papas fritas y bebidas para recaudar fondos en apoyo a los estudiantes.

Happy Friday! Here is this week's Newsletter. We did have an increase in our student absences this week. Being back at school can sometimes come with the cold or flu. Make sure your child is staying healthy by getting enough sleep, eating well, washing their hands, and covering their cough and sneeze. Have a wonderful weekend, see you all on Monday!

¡Feliz viernes! Aquí tienen el boletín de esta semana. Hemos notado un aumento en las ausencias de los estudiantes durante estos días; el regreso a clases a veces trae consigo resfriados o gripe. Asegúrense de que sus hijos se mantengan sanos durmiendo lo suficiente, alimentándose bien, lavándose las manos y cubriéndose al toser o estornudar. ¡Que tengan un excelente fin de semana y nos vemos el lunes!
