The Perquimans County Restoration Association is hosting Betsy Dowdy’s Ride historical re-enactment on Saturday, May 30, from 11:00–2:00! 🎉 Enjoy family activities, a food truck, and Betsy’s arrival on horseback around 12:00–12:30. 🐎
Come out, learn some local history, and enjoy a great community event! 💙

In preparation for the 2026-2027 school year, please complete the form below with your child's transportation needs for the upcoming school year. If you have more than one student in your household, please complete a form for each student. Remember that students may only have ONE morning stop and ONE afternoon stop. We do not accept "As Needed" Transportation Requests.
Note: All students are being taken OFF all bus routes this summer in order to reconfigure bus fleets. Only those students with a completed Transportation Intent form will be placed back on a bus route for the beginning of the 2026 - 2027 school year. It is imperative that this information be completed as soon as possible in order to assist us in completing accurate and efficient bus routes over the summer. All forms should be submitted by August 7, 2026.

🎉🐾 CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Holly Daniels — our 2026–2027 Hertford Grammar School Teacher of the Year! 🍎✨

Mrs. Daniels is the definition of a difference maker. As a 5th grade math teacher, she looped up with her students, building incredible relationships and creating a classroom culture where students feel challenged, supported, and loved. 💙📚

Her leadership reaches far beyond her classroom walls. Holly has brought stability and encouragement to her 5th grade team, supported a new curriculum partner this year, served on the PCIS Strategic Planning Committee, and led students as our Odyssey of the Mind Coach. 🧠🏆

With certifications in Elementary Education, EC (K–12), and AIG, Mrs. Daniels has a remarkable ability to meet the needs of learners at every level and help all students grow. 👏✨
