Meet Patch! This handsome house hippo is looking for a home through Herriman City Animal Services.

Patch is a 2-year-old, 70-pound pitopotamus with a giant blocky head, a goofy smile, and one of the sweetest personalities you could ask for. He absolutely adores people and has the kind of affectionate, happy-go-lucky energy that makes everyone instantly fall in love with him.

Patch is dog friendly, cat friendly, and would love a home where he can finally stretch out on a couch and live the spoiled hippo lifestyle he deserves. He’s still working on his leash manners and can be strong when excited, so he’ll need someone willing to continue helping him learn. But underneath all that enthusiasm is just a big baby who wants attention, snacks, and to be included in everything.

Meet Sif! This gorgeous Shepherd/Husky mix is looking for a home through Herriman City Animal Services.

Sif is a 4-year-old, 70-pound boy with one striking blue eye, one warm brown eye, and the kind of calm, mellow energy that instantly makes you feel at ease around him. He’s a little aloof at first in that classic Husky way, but he’s friendly with people and quietly enjoys being near his humans.

Sif has previously lived with other dogs and did well, has been good with kids, and has been non-reactive around cats at the shelter. He’d love a home where he can settle in, be part of the family, and enjoy a comfortable life filled with treats, walks, and cozy spots to relax.

He’s also a smart boy who already knows sit, shake, and down — especially if snacks are involved. Sif is extremely treat motivated and seems to genuinely enjoy learning and interacting with people.
