Starting today, Wednesday, September 9th, the north end of the newly constructed U-111 will open to drivers. The two new lanes will begin near South Jordan Parkway and extend south to 11800 South.

What Drivers Need to Know:
• Traffic Shift: Drivers currently using the old Bacchus Highway will be shifted onto the new U-111 roadway.

• Shift Schedule: The traffic transition is scheduled to occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to minimize disruption during peak travel hours.

• Driver Safety: Follow posted signage and instructions from flaggers, exercise extra caution in the new alignment, and plan for potential delays during the switch.

New Signal & Access Points:
• A temporary signalized intersection is active near South Jordan Parkway (Detail 1).
• A permanent signalized intersection is in place at 11800 South & U-111 (Detail 2).
• The section of old Bacchus Highway running parallel to U-111 is marked with temporary closures / local access only (marked in red).
• 11800 South maintains flow, connecting west across Bacchus Hwy and east into Herriman (Detail 3).

Registration for the Inflatable Dash next week is full, BUT there's still plenty going on to participate in!

Enjoy the laughs of watching the race as a spectator, food trucks, the Good4Life Market, and a classic rock concert by the Sons of '83, presented by the Friends of Herriman Parks.
