As a church, we can help promote mental well-being. Our Churches can provide a safe space for people to discuss and obtain information about the importance of mental well-being and can share their thoughts and feelings. Would you like to participate in a New Catholic ministry that follows the following core pillars: of education, accompaniment, and advocacy to walk with individuals to foster well-being and wellness and create a faith community free from the stigma and isolation often associated with the discussion of mental health and well-being. Just to let you know, if you want to get on the ballot in November for the Heron Lake City Council, we will have two council members up for re-election which is a 4-year seat and also the Mayor is up for re-election for a 2-year seat. You can apply for your name to be put on the ballot at the Heron Lake City Hall from July 14 to July 28. If interested in how things with the City of Heron Lake are handled and want to be more involved with the city government, consider putting your name on the ballot.
