Don and I will be at the Civil War & Militaria Show this Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Elks Lodge at 8421 Arlington Blvd, from 9:00 to 4:00 pm.

We will be selling our books and DVDs on the Civil War in Northern Virgina, including our latest two books on Mosby in Central Virginia, and Mosby in Southern Virginia and Other States.

I will also be selling my 79th New York Vols. (Highlanders) flag used in the motion picture "The Battle of Chantilly (Ox Hill)."

Don and I will be selling our books at the National Capital Model Soldier Society show from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The show will be held at the Hotel Belvoir Springfield, 6550 Loisdale Road, Springfield, VA. Admission is $10.00.

The Bull Run Civil War Roundtable 2026 Fall Tour will be Saturday, October 17th, 2026, and will tour "Civil War Alexandria, Va." We will meet at Fort Ward Park, (9:00 am), then carpool to the Alexandria "Lyceum," to begin our tour.

Our morning will be a "walking tour" of "Old Town" Civil War locations, including the "Lyceum" and "Atheneum," the "Marshall House" hotel, and Grosvenor Hospital "Mercy Street" sites, and Confederate memorial at Christ Church Cemetery.

Our guides will be two respected local historians — Chuck Mauro and Don Hakenson.

We plan to lunch at "Cooper's Mill" (10 Duke Street), a thriving pizzeria today, but in a historic building with a "distinctive Civil War era flavor."

Our Bull Run Roundtable afternoon program will visit Fort Ward Park Museum.
