Please be aware that there will be NO unauthorized vehicle access to the east entrance of Renasant Park (off Hwy 51) through approximately June 1 due to ongoing road and parking lot construction.

🅿️ Limited parking is available along Renasant Bank Dr.
⚠️ Please do NOT block business entrances or exits.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed! Please refer to the map below for information.

Work will begin soon near the Skate Park at the eastern entrance off Highway 51.

✅ Skate park will remain open at first
🅿️ Parking available at Hernando Self Storage Dog Park (see yellow square)

⚠️ Important:
Access to the skate park will be temporarily closed for a few days later in the project for safety as work moves closer to that area. Please stay out of all restricted zones.

What a wonderful day we had at our Kids Fishing Rodeo on May 2nd! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect!

A big thank you to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks for providing the fish, and to the Optimist Club of Hernandofor covering the costs that allowed us to offer great prizes for the kids. We are also grateful to the Hernando Parks & Recreation Foundation for bringing out an amazing group of volunteers who helped everything run smoothly.

Most of all, thank you to our community for coming out and making the day so special by bringing your kids to enjoy a fun day of fishing with us. We appreciate each and every one of you!
