Highlights from this weekβs City Council meeting:
π₯ Updated Pickleball Membership and Hourly Reservation Fees
Council amended the Cityβs Master Fee Schedule to modify the annual Pickleball Membership fee from $19 to $25 and hourly reservation fees from $9 to $12.
π€ Introduced Ordinance & Adopted Resolution Related to Special Events
Council introduced an ordinance regarding special events on public property, regulations, requirements, approvals, and permit issuance. Council also adopted a resolution establishing new special event permit program fees.
πΌ Announced 2026 Annual Appointments to Boards and Commissions
Council made the following appointments: Public Works Commission β Erin Bender (Seat 4) and Nate Flory (Seat 5); Civil Service Board β Rebecca Noble (Seat 5).
π° Discussed, Received & Filed FY 2026β2027 Budget Presentation
Council heard, discussed, received and filed the Fiscal Year 2026β2027 Budget Presentation.
π Awarded On-Call Broker/Dealer Services Agreements
Council awarded seven professional services agreements for on-call broker/dealer services, each for three-year terms with the option for two one-year extensions.
π· Awarded Construction Contract for Citywide Slurry Seal Project
Council awarded a $222,310 construction contract with a $44,500 contingency to Pavement Coatings Co. for the Citywide Slurry Seal Project (CIP 107).
π² Awarded On-Call Environmental Monitoring & Testing Services Agreements
Council awarded two five-year agreements for on-call environmental monitoring and testing services, each not to exceed $200,000, to AESCO, Inc. and Panacea, Inc.

β’ Adopted project list for FY 2026β27 as funded by the Road Repair and Accountability Act
β’ Approved three-year agreement (2026β2028) for Rotary Club to operate local farmerβs market
β’ Approved third amendment to lease agreement with Friends of the Library

β’ Announced Sister Cities Association Gala, Fine Arts Festival, Mayorβs Conversation & Beach Clean-Up, and CERT Training
