After 8 1/2 years of litigation in State and Federal Court and a few trips to the Court of Appeals, we settled our Coastal Act case against the City of Palos Verdes Estates.

Facing an ‘existential financial risk’ from the suit, the city agrees to install new walkways, benches, signage and other amenities at its well-known surf spot.
